The Maple Leaf comes from the Maple Tree (Acer), there are over 100 species of Maples, 10 that are native to Canada, including the Sugar Maple that produces Maple Syrup.

The fruit of Maple, we lovingly know as “helicopters” (samaras).

The Maple Tree is thought to symbolize balance & generosity.
